"Taste of Timbercrest"

Timbercrest is full of diversity and we want to celebrate all of it!

Wednesday November 29th, 2023 @ TMS Cafeteria

What is Cultural Night?  We invite Timbercrest families to showcase their culture through food and poster displays at TMS.  TMS and TMS PTSA strives to develop connections among our school’s different cultures, thereby strengthening and creating a closer community.

What do we need from you to participate?  We are looking for families of all cultures to participate and showcase their unique traditions, so others can learn about your country through poster boards, food, and other items (examples: jewelry, games, maps, etc.). We also encourage everyone to wear traditional clothing and dress!

  • Poster board showcasing your culture and/or country.  The poster can include a map, pictures, languages, ceremonies, religions, celebrations, or anything else you would like to share. We also ask that you be there to answer questions about your culture during the event. Poster boards will be provided by PTSA beginning November 13th, via your child. Students can pick up their boards at the main office after submitting the online forms.

  • Food samples (optional but greatly encouraged). Please bring a food dish or “small bite” that you feel shows something special about your culture. We ask for approximately 50-75 very small sample-cup sized bites, but more is always welcomed. All food cups, small spoons, and napkins will be provided by PTSA. Please provide ingredient/allergy information.

Please complete this online form to let us know you are interested!  Form deadline Nov 20th
