Outstanding Educator / Golden Apple recognizes to an individual who has significantly contributed to their learning community by enhancing educational outcomes for all children. This award recognizes an individual who goes beyond the normal expectations of their job. The individual finds innovative ways to make learning fun and challenge students to be their best. An educator is not limited to a teacher and may also be defined as an assistant, a specialist, a support staff member, an administrator, or a bus driver.
Outstanding PTSA volunteer / Golden Acorn recognizes a individual who goes above and beyond to support the students, teachers, adminstration and school community and recognizes continuing, dedicated service. This is an excellent way to honor a volunteer for their contributions to TMS, TMS PTSA, and the school community.
Outstanding Advocate recognizes an individual (TMS staff or TMS PTSA volunteer) who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to their community by advocating for the rights, well-being, and opportunities of others. This award recognizes someone who tirelessly champion causes, speak up for those in need, and work to create positive change in their community.
